Who we are
Le Corbeau is operated by Harmony House Lda, a company registered in Portugal. You can reach us at [email protected] for any privacy-related question.
What we collect
When you use Le Corbeau we may store the following data about you:
- An anonymous session identifier and a device fingerprint hash so we can remember your preferences without requiring an account.
- The buyer profile fields you fill in: budget range, intent, motivation, NHR status, nationality, golden visa interest, must-haves, and deal-breakers.
- Your swipe history (which properties you saved, skipped, or viewed).
- Conversations you have with the Le Corbeau chat assistant.
- Optional contact details (name, email, phone) when you submit a lead, enquiry, or price alert.
Why we use it
Lawful bases under Article 6 of the GDPR:
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f), to power the property recommendations and the algorithm that ranks them for you.
- Contract performance (Art. 6.1.b), to process your enquiries, leads, and price alerts.
- Consent (Art. 6.1.a), for any marketing emails (we do not currently send any).
Who we share it with
We rely on a small set of processors to run the service:
- Casafari, our property listings provider. Property data flows from Casafari to us; we do not share your personal data with Casafari.
- Anthropic API and OpenAI API, which process the messages you send to the Le Corbeau chat assistant. We do not opt into having your messages used to train models.
- Database and hosting providers, under standard processor agreements.
International transfers
Anthropic and OpenAI are based in the United States. We rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers, as applicable.
How long we keep it
- Anonymous session data: 12 months from last activity.
- Profile data: until you delete your account from your workspace.
- Lead and enquiry messages: 24 months for service-quality and legal-defence purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your personal data, plus the right to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with the CNPD at cnpd.pt. To download or delete your data, head to your workspace.
Automated decision-making
Le Corbeau uses an algorithm to rank properties for you based on your profile and swipe history. This ranking does not produce legal decisions about you. You can opt out of personalised ranking at any time by deleting your profile from your workspace.
